Nestled in a small alleyway known as Low Friars Street in the City Centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne you will find Native Skate Store. This skater owned skate shop first opened back in 2003 and has been the cornerstone of Newcastle's thriving skateboard scene ever since whether its being part of local competitions like the Thrasher inspired King of the How Man or sponsoring local skaters and putting out edits like the recent 2013 Team Edit.

Since opening Native has gone from being just a small independent skateboard shop to a skateboard brand that is known up and down the UK after taking the store online with their first website back in 2005. Now it its 10th year (2013) Native continues to grow and gain momentum. You can probably find every brand you can think of at Native and on their website! It is one of those shops that really tries to support the skateboard industry and the brands within it.
